BMW

BMW is luxury car manufacturing company, headquartered in Bavaria in southern Germany. BMW is an abbreviation of Bavarian Motor Works AG. The company is known as a manufacturer of not only four-wheeled vehicles but also two-wheeled vehicles. BMW's logo is a combination of blue and white Bavarian national flag and a propeller. Traditionally, it decorates the front part of the car together with what-so-called “kidney-grill” ornament. BMW is also the parent company of Rolls-Royce and Mini. The owners of BMW are the Quandt family of Germany. Concerning car manufacturing, BMW is often regarded as the completely opposite company to Mercedes-Benz. BMW sticks to 50/50 weight distribution, and thoroughly works on creating a sporty car that lets driver experience the joy of driving by a nimble handling and chassis providing excellent road holding. Besides, BMW Motorsport GmbH, which was founded in 1972 and conducts R&D relating to motorsports, currently works on developing M-model, a high-performance version among the catalog models.
